Last Friday the WUC Mind Sports Organizing Committee met “virtually” with the FISU Technical Commissions Bridge and Chess and representatives from the FISU Office. The full program of the event was discussed at length and all venues to be used during the event were approved. In less than 10 months we’ll be able to welcome you all in the Hof van Liere in Antwerp!
Following the confirmation of the 2022 FISU World University Championships and University World Cups, FISU has sent an official letter to its members inviting them to register on the accreditation portal.
The FISU Online Accreditation System will be used for all registration/accreditation purposes. Registration is only possible through your National University Sports Federation (NUSF). Visit the FISU website for the NUSF contact list.
The official invitations from the FISU WUC Mind Sports 2022 Organization Committee will be sent to NUSFs by mid-November.
The accreditation portal is open to all FISU members to register their athletes to 2022 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports with the deadline following the usual process:

The countdown is on! There is less than 1 year left before the 2022 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports and we can’t wait to finally celebrate this event with you after this challenging period.
The very first 2020 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports online was originally planned to be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland in a traditional way. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has been decided to switch the format of the event to an online one.
The online Championship that gathered hundreds of people was a success. And now we look forward to meeting you in person.
From 11 to 17 September 2022, Antwerp will host the 2022 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports Chess & Bridge. The University of Antwerp will manage the organization and is ready to continue its long-standing tradition in organizing mind sports events. We are honoured to welcome the best chess & bridge students from around the world!
